Role Overview:


We are looking for an SEO Leader who operates beyond traditional keyword-led SEO and understands how search is evolving in an AI-first world. This role is for someone who builds, owns, and scales SEO as a revenue-driving function, not a reporting exercise.
You will lead strategy and execution for modern search—where discovery happens across LLMs and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and emerging AI-driven search interfaces—while ensuring strong foundational SEO hygiene.
This is a hands-on leadership role with clear commercial accountability.

  • You are ahead of the curve on SEO and not operating from outdated 2019 playbooks
  • You understand AI / LLM optimisation and how brands get surfaced in conversational and generative search
  • For you, basic SEO hygiene is assumed, not highlighted
  • You have delivered measurable growth, not just audits, decks, or recommendations
  • You have managed teams and revenue and are comfortable owning outcomes, not just activity


Key Responsibilities:


Strategy & Growth:
  • Define and own the AI-first SEO strategy, aligning with business and revenue goals
  • Drive organic growth across traditional search and AI-powered discovery platforms
  • Identify and execute opportunities across technical SEO, content systems, authority building, and AI visibility

Execution & Ownership:
  • Lead end-to-end SEO implementation—strategy to execution to results
  • Work closely with content, tech, product, and revenue teams to ensure execution velocity
  • Translate insights into action, not just documentation

Leadership & Accountability:
  • Manage and mentor SEO team members; build scalable SEO processes
  • Own KPIs, growth metrics, and revenue impact of SEO initiatives
  • Report outcomes with clarity and commercial relevance

Innovation & Learning:
  • Stay current with changes in AI search, LLM behavior, and algorithmic shifts
  • Test, learn, and systemise what works—continuously improving performance


What Will Disqualify You:


  • You have only done on-page SEO and monthly reporting
  • You have never owned a number (traffic alone does not count)
  • You believe implementation belongs to someone else


Experience & Profile:


  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in SEO with demonstrable growth impact
  • Proven experience in leading teams and owning outcomes
  • Strong understanding of AI-led search, LLM optimisation, and modern discovery ecosystems
